The Coral Cove Senior Living Community is located at the Dolphin coast. The development consists of 197 Independent living units in the form of 2 Bedroom, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bedroom Semi-attached and double storey Maisonette Garden villas. These units where carefully positioned on the steep site into 4 different areas with Inland, Forrest, Ocean and Prime ocean views. Two apartment blocks with 27 apartments consisting of 2 Bedroom and 1 Bedroom apartments are located next to the Pavilion with Prime Ocean views. The Pavilion consists of a Dining room, Lounge, a Coffee shop and Bar, Cinema, Card room, Craft room and a fully equipped Wellness center with a Exercise room, Gym, Biokeneticist, Indoor pool an outdoor pool with a private braai area and a series of different decks overlooking the view. A Care center with a Frail Care, Mid-care and Assisted living units provide the full continuum of care.

As you enter the foyer, a double volume glass façade opens up towards the breath-taking view over the Indian ocean. A series of double volume areas allows for a dramatic spatial experience as you move through the building while a lower ceiling and carefully designed bulkheads and an internal canopy structure creates a more intimate and comfortable atmosphere in the lounge. The conceptual approach was to draw inspiration from the rich vernacular heritage and buildings within the area, by providing a contemporary reinterpretation of the existing typology.
Deep gable ends provide solar control with a series of generous balconies with large sliding windows which provide shelter from prevailing winds. Communal spaces and staircases are enclosed with glass curtain walls to fend off the wind, while allowing residents to still enjoy the spectacular views.

The Care Center provides continued care for residents of the estate that have dementia or suffer from other forms of cognitive decline. The building is split into a Frail Care and Memory Care wing with an internal meandering route and a series of planted courtyards. These courtyards have water features to create a tranquil atmosphere, a bird aviary, pergolas, herb gardens that are tended to by residents and outdoor seating areas for reflection and connecting with nature.
